System Maintenance is scheduled Sunday night, April 22nd, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM EST Monday, April 23rd. While these database upgrades and maintenance is necessary, it will mean that our online services will not be available during this maintenance window. These services include: online booking, messaging, remote access, memberships or any account management. We apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause and thank you for your service and patience.

We recently experienced a service outage related to some Amazon Web Services, which affected key functionality of our Remote Access Service. This interruption happened on Thursday, June 22nd, between the hours of 9:00pm and 2:00am EST. The Remote Access Service is now fully restored. If you continue to experience issues with your Remote Access Service, please follow the directions on this Support Article to restart the Remote Access Service and try reconnecting again. You can also restart your computer to restart your service. If you are still experiencing issues afterwards please contact our support team at 1 (800) 604-2040.

All of our services have been restored after a brief interruption that impacted our Cloud online services. This interruption occurred between 9:45 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. EST on September 18th. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!

Marketing Campaigns Overview (Version 11)

This article will help you add and edit a marketing campaign as well as provide an overview of the Marketing Clientele Wizard used to narrow your client list for targeted marketing.

Adding a Marketing Campaign
  1. Select Edit Marketing Campaigns from the Messaging & Marketing drop-down menu.
  2. Click Add Campaign.
  3. Enter the campaign's name in the Name field.
  4. Enter the campaign's description in the Description field.
  5. Choose the date from the First run date calendar tool on which the first sendout will occur.
  6. Optionally, select the Make this a recurring marketing campaign checkbox and set frequency of recurrence. Check this if you're making a birthday campaign!
  7. Optionally, select the end date from the Stop campaign calendar tool.
  8. Click the button to Run Marketing Clientele Wizard.
  9. The Create List of Target Clientele screen will appear. This is the tool used to include clients in a campaign and will be outlined in further detail below.
  10. Once clientele has been selected, you will be shown a list of the clients included. A Click here to view these clients link will be available to check this list again, if needed. You can go back and change your search parameters by clicking ​Run Marketing Clientele Wizard again.
  11. Select the E-mail template to be used for this campaign.
  12. Once you are ready to initiate the campaign, click the E-mail Now button to send now or the Save button to queue the campaign to be sent on targeted start date.
Editing a Marketing Campaign
  1. Select the campaign you would like to edit and click the Edit Campaign button.
  2. Make the needed changes to the campaign.
  3. Click Save to save the changes.
  4. If you are initiating a previously saved campaign, click the appropriate button under the Initiate Marketing Campaign section.
Copying a Marketing Campaign
  1. Select the campaign you would like to clone, and click the Copy Campaign button.
  2. Click Yes in the prompt window and a new campaign will be created based on the original.
  3. A new window will appear asking if you would like to view the campaign. Click Yes or No depending on your preference.
Deleting a Marketing Campaign
  1. Select the campaign you would like to delete.
  2. Click the Delete Campaign button.
  3. The Are You Sure? window will appear.
  4. Click Yes to permanently delete the campaign.

Marketing Clientele Wizard Overview
As mentioned previously, the Marketing Clientele Wizard allows you to narrow the client list based on dozens of criteria to create effective marketing campaigns. You might create campaigns based on preferred employee or you may wish to target only female clients with birthdays in the month of May. The possibilities are nearly limitless! This tool cal be run separately from the marketing tools by choosing Marketing Clientele Report from the Messaging & Marketing drop-down menu.​ Keep in mind that a client will only be included in the results if he or she meets EVERY parameter you select to include. So, the more options you check, the narrower your list will be.
  1. Select the clients to include by checking the appropriate box(es):
    • The client's first name includes the word or phrase: narrow results by a first name
    • The client's last name includes the word or phrase: narrow results by a last name
    • The client's city includes the word or phrase: narrow results based on city
    • The client's postal code is: narrow results by postal code
    • The client's class/category includes the word or phrase: narrow results based on a specific word or phrase from the client's profile
    • The last employee to service this client was: narrow results based on the last employee performing the service
    • The client's preferred employee is: narrow results based on a preferred employee
    • The client's gender is: narrow results based on gender
    • The client has had |___| visits: narrow results based on the number of visits your clients have had
    • The client has |___| loyalty points: narrow results based on the number of loyalty points clients have
    • The client has spent |___| since |date|: narrow results based on client spending
    • The client has referred another client and has not been credited: narrow results on client referrals that have not been given credit
  2. Alternatively, leave all the boxes blank to include all clients.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Select Clients to Include - Birthday section, optionally make the appropriate selections:
    1. Do not filter results based on birthday
    2. Filter results and search birthdays based on number of days or specific date range
      • If filtering based on number of days, enter the number of days ahead to search client birthday results. 
      • If filtering based on specific date range, select appropriate date range(s) below.
  5. In the Select Clients to Include - First and Last Visit section, optionally make the appropriate selections:
    1. Do not filter results based on first and last visit
    2. Filter results and search first and last visit based on a: number of days or specific date range
      • If filtering based on number of days, select the appropriate options for number of days being searched below.
      • If filtering based on specific date range, select the appropriate options for date range being searched below.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Select Clients to Include - Purchase History section, optionally make the appropriate selections:
    1. Do not filter results based on purchase history
    2. Filter results and:
      • Do not consider purchase history date range
      • Search purchase history based on number of days, then select appropriate filter options below
      • Search purchase history based on specific date, then select appropriate filter options below
    3. Add Products, Services, or Packages purchased to include in search filtering.
  8. Click Next.
  9. As you feel appropriate, you may choose to check or uncheck the following boxes:
    • Only include clients that have a complete address entered
    • Only include clients that have an e-mail address entered (Check this if creating an e-mail blast!)
    • Only include clients who do not have an e-mail address entered
    • Exclude clients who do not have "Send marketing e-mails to this client" selected in their profile (Also recommended for e-mail blasts!)
    • Only include clients who are selected as the primary contact in their profile
    • Only include clients that have an SMS number entered
    • Exclude clients who have "Do not send postal mail" selected in their profile
    • Only include clients who are active (A client is only inactive if you have checked the "This client is inactive" checkbox in their profile.)
  10. Click Next to generate the client list based on all your parameter selection. As a reminder, you can simply click Run Marketing Clientele Wizard again when creating a marketing campaign if you want to change any of your criteria selections.
